EXOTIC POTION COOKIES are the outcome of a mad scientist's experiment - alt-rock, jazz, hip-hop and electronica in a melting test tube of genre-bending funk.
Creating a result as unpredictable as they are irresistible, this band continues to explode time and time again on stages nationwide.
Against all odds, EPC formed during the midst of culturally deadening covid in 2021. The band's journey has been fuelled by a diverse range of influencing acts including System of a Down, Beethoven, Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, Cypress Hill, Gojira, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Limp Bizkit, Massive Attack and Metallica. A literal melting pot of genres, EPC draws aspects of each influence and melds them into their own unique groove. EPC ethos is to continually push musical norms and deliver a wild experience for their audiences whether this be in their packed out home shows in Central QLD on festival appearances, or as supports for big acts like The Butterfly Effect.
A creatively wild and fearless sonic adventure is the listener's pleasure, EPC engaging with the audience to captivate their attention throughout each performance.
