CQYTE
The Central Queensland Youth Touring Ensemble (CQYTE) is a vibrant collective of 45 young musicians from across the region, bringing together students in both a Concert Band and String Ensemble.
Following a successful international tour to Japan last year, CQYTE continues to build on its strong tradition of musical excellence and cultural exchange. In 2026, the ensemble will travel to Sydney, further expanding their performance experience and showcasing regional talent on a national stage.
The ensemble is especially excited to be part of the Sandy Krak Festival this year, sharing their love of music with the community in such a lively and celebratory setting. Audiences can look forward to an engaging and energetic performance, featuring diverse repertoire spanning everything from popular favourites to classical works.
